While the racers may be the backbone of the derby, volunteers are the blood that pumps through the veins. There are many steps that go into making this event happen, and for the most part it comes down to race day. Everyone and anyone is welcome into the derby family as a volunteer, and trust us it’s worth it. There are many duties, including but not limited to: set up, keeping the course clear (which is the most important) and tear down. As a volunteer, you will be well rewarded with shirts, free food and water, and beer at the after-party. The most crucial part is to make sure every living thing on Mt. Tabor is safe from the soapbox cars and spectators. If you are a dedicated and smart individual that likes to have fun, you will not want to miss out on this.

Sign up to volunteer for the 2017 Derby on Formsite.

Contact the lovely Darcie at  to be a part of our event. Thank you in advance. We can’t wait to drive past all of you keeping the track safe.
